Fiber Arts Class Details

Following are details about our classes:

10:00 am – We will meet for warm beverages and pastries in the studio located above the alpaca birthing barn. (please stay to right on gravel drive, past the greenhouse and garden. Park by the Pole Barn filled with hay).  Here we will discuss all the types of felting and learn a little about different types of fiber.  Most students finish their project by the end of class (3:30 -4:30 ish, pending the class). If for some reason you need to leave early, before finishing, we will be sure you leave with enough materials and directions to finish at your convenience.

The Studio will be open at 9:30 am – come early to browse the studio gallery or meet with the alpacas. You may also do so following the class.

Take a full alpaca tour prior to the class – Meet us at the barn at 9:15 if you want the full alpaca tour prior to the class.  Please let Holly know ahead of time if you wish to take the full tour.

Class Fee: The fees per class depend on material costs for that class. The fee listed includes your deposit fee, so you will owe $25 less than the listed price at the end of the class. All materials, supplies as well as a farm to table style lunch are included in the price, unless otherwise stated in the class description.
~All Needle Felting Classes, including the Wet Felted Wall Hanging Class are $120.00 per person.

Click here to pay online. You may also pay by check if you prefer, send a check to: LW Studio, 106 Agape Drive, Blairsville, GA 30512, Or I can send you a Paypal invoice so you may pay via CC.  The remaining Payment will be due following class.

Cancelation Policy:  If you need to cancel for any reason, it must be at least 3 weeks prior to the class to be refunded your deposit.  This allows us enough time to notify waitlisted folks or find another student.   You may use your deposit on another class if you cancel at least 48 hours before the class. If you cancel after this, you forfeit your deposit.  If I need to cancel the class due to lack of student registration or personal emergency, you will be refunded the deposit (or you can use it to reserve space in a future class).

We prefer a class with at least 4 students. On occasion I will host a class with 2 or 3 students, pending the circumstance. We will be in touch a few weeks prior to class if we do not have the required number of students to discuss perhaps rescheduling the class.

The maximum number for students per class is 7.
