Felted Flower Necklaces Class

Tuesday, July 12, 2022

Learn to wet felt different types of flowers and leaves. We will felt all the flower and leaves to a long stem that acts as a scarf/necklace. Each student will make at least two different flower necklaces, maybe 3 if time allows. Wear two or three together and it becomes a scarf or wear one as a necklace paired with a pretty silk scarf. Possibilities are endless. We will be using a mixture of alpaca and merino wools for the base fiber and lots of fun decorative fibers like bamboo, firestar, angolina and silk. A beading demonstration will also give you ideas how to decorate your flowers once they are dry. We begin the morning with homemade sweets, coffee or tea. Lunch is a warm, yummy, farm to table, cozy, affair.

All levels welcome
