Learn how to make your own jewelry
Pick from many colors of hand sculpted glass owl head beads to use as your focal bead for your necklace. Learn to do all of the connections between chain and beads. You will leave with your own fiber, and glass bejeweled necklace with matching earrings. Besides learning to make the connections you will also learn to make your own simple twisted wire findings (clasps & earring wires) using copper and or brass wire! Once you learn these techniques you can start making all of your own jewelry. Hand made jewelry makes the best gifts!
Warning! beads are highly addictive. All beads, charms, wire and chain will be provided, however if you have a special bead or charm you wish to incorporate into your necklace or earrings, please do bring them along and we will figure out a way to make it work.
You will also learn to needle felt little sparkly beads to incorporate in your necklace and earrings, as well as hammering copper or brass. Bead stores should pay me to teach this class because I have a feeling you will become a frequent flyer at your local bead store after taking this class. The possibilities are endless once you learn these basic jewelry making skills.
All levels welcome
