CLASS DESCRIPTION: Fun and funky wet felted vessels. In this class we will learn to make a funky shaped vessel, a small purse, bird house or bucket hat, you choose, and we will make it happen. The technique is all the same. We will be using the resist method in wet felting. Choose from many different shapes and sizes of resist and many, many colors. The vessels will have loads of texture as we will be adding silk bits and curly mohair curls.

Learn to make three dimensional spikes to add funky fun to your vessels as well as adding beads that are felted into the vessel.

We will also discuss different ways to embellish your vessel from beading it to adding copper accents.

All materials included. We begin the morning with homemade sweet breads, coffee or tea. lunch is a warm, yummy, farm to table affair!

Teacher: Holly Williams
Holly is the owner of Lasso the Moon Alpaca Farm, Lardworks Studio Inc and Laces of Lore Fiber Art. Holly has been teaching fiber art on the farm for over 18 years.

Class Times: 10:00 am – 3:30/5:00 ish pending students

Class Fee: $120 includes all materials and a Farm to table style lunch. A $25 deposit is required to register. If for any reason I have to cancel the class, you may use the deposit on another class, or we will reimburse you the deposit.
